You might enjoy a certain misfortune of mine. Yesterday I tried using some olive oil in my hair in place of conditioner. The instructions said just a few drops. Well, I couldn't get the few drops to go everywhere through my long hair, so I just dipped my finger tips in the oil and applied in several locations near my scalp. Uh-oh! Too much oil. I put two tablespoons of vinegar in a jar and added two cups of water. Poured that over my head--still too much oil. Oh no! It's time to leave for church! Last night I was Mrs. Oily Head through four piano lessons, playing the piano for the church service, teaching a children's class, and practicing with musicians after church! People may have thought I had come to church with wet hair, but after all those hours, I'm sure they just thought I really needed a shower! Hahaha! Feel free to share my funny misfortune with others! Why waste a good laugh? :)

I once had a similar experience with mayo in my hair....one of my "friends" told me it would make my hair shiny....and well it did, grease has a shine to it! It took many washes to get that nasty stuff out of my hair. I have always hated mayo. I don't eat it, can't stand the smell of it, I don't even like for it to touch my fingers when I make my hubby a sandwhich. yucky stuff. The things we ladies do for beauty sometimes :) I think it is great that we can laugh at ourselves though
