Our Christmas was a very fun Christmas. We did many things to celebrate Christmas. We enjoyed most celebrating Jesus birth. We normally make Jesus a birthday cake.  One of the ways we celebrated Jesus was going to church on Christmas morning.  We woke up at 5:30 in the morning to get changed to go to church. We raced down the staires from getting changed because mommy said the first person down the staires completely changed can open one present.  Matthew was the first person down the stairs, but all of us got to open one present.  A week before Christmas we got a tree.  When we went to get the tree we all got to choose the tree we were going to get. When daddy was paying for it Matthew got to help the man who was putting the Christmas tree on our van. They put the tree on top of our van and then tied it around three times.  While we were there someone asked us if we wanted to take a picture with the Santa Claus we said no thank you because he is fake.  Even though they pleaded we still said no thank you.  The next day while mommy was on the phone we decorated the tree. Mommy said we should of waited for daddy We got to put alot of things on there like candy canes and purple, green, and gold ornaments.  We also put lights on our Christmas tree.  

Mommy made two types of dough so we could make candy cane cookies.  We also got to make cut out cookies.  Mommy made two special types of cookies for daddy.  Also we got to help mommy make daddy his favorite cherry pie.  Daddy really enjoyed it.

We saved 30.00 and we got daddy lemon heads and two of his favorite cracker and meat and cheese sets.  It took us three months to save that much money. We collected change around the house and from the left over change from when mommy went to the store.  Daddy really liked his presents. 

Bekah thinking of her cat Pinky bought her cat a special Christmas present. We children also sent Christmas cards to all of our penpals.  We recieved Christmas cards from friends and family too.  We picked special Christmas cards because they had scripture in it.

After we got home from church we took a special Christmas picture.  After that mommy prepared a delicious Christmas breakfast.  All of us hurried to get done because after breakfast we got to open our presents. While we were at the table mommy and daddy talked to us about the meaning of Christmas and that Christmas was not about presents and toys but birth of Jesus.  The reason why mommy and daddy give gifts is because Jesus came to give us the gift of salvation.  All of us even the baby was excited to open our gifts. She even helped open one of mine.  At first we opened some of our smaller presents.  Some of things I got is a pellet gun, A flag football set, clothes, and some games.  Matthew also got a pellet gun and a remote control helicopter.  Bekah got two antique dolls and white shaw.  Joshua got a new bike and a remote control truck.

Over all our Christmas was a very special and fantastic Christmas.
