I just would like to say the last three weeks have been pretty amazing.  This is a really personal blog, but I wanted to share it because I wanted to just give a real life testimony with how powerful our God is.  Last month My husband recieved a phone call from the lady we were renting from. She asked my husband if he was capable of redoing the deck on our rental home.  He said, Yes.  She said that she would give him a months free rent for his work if he were to replace it.  So Matt turned in an estimate and started the work on the deck.  Towards the end of the month we recieved a phone call asking for the rent for October.....not only did she want it she wanted it that day.  My husband was not home, so I took the call.  I explained to her that I think there is a major miscommunication, but she would have to speak with my husband.  As it turns out she acted as if there was no agreement.  Matt paid her the rent for October on the 29th, which was a Saturday, and about an hour later she showed up at our home asking us to leave by Tuesday of the following week.  So needless to say we were a little axious. We did not have the money to move out that quickly.  We shared this with only a few close friends, only out of desire for them to pray for our situation.  On Sunday the following day Matt was sharing this major prayer request with another Chrisitian.  He said that he knew a family that inherited a farm and since the passing of thier mother, the original owner, the farm has just sat.  So on Tuesday, the day we were suppose to be out, one of the family members called my husband and offered to rent us the farm house.  They set up an appointment on Thursday of the same week for us to go see it.  After seeing the house my husband and the kiddos were so excited! My children couldn't believe we were going to get to move to a farm! My husband was estatic.  We went home Thursday and prayed that evening for God's will and the following morning, Matt was certain it was the Lord's will and talked with the family to let them know we would take it.  After talking on the phone with the family, Matt got dressed in work clothes and went and helped the family move all of the things out of the home.  They had a huge yard sale. After a long days work the family told Matt he could move in the following day.....not only could we move in but they didn't want any rent until January!  They did ask for a 500 security deposit but did not want it right away! In one week the Lord answered a major prayer request! This could have only happened through a miracle!   God knew we did not have first months rent and a security deposit to move out so quickly so he provided a house that we didn't need one! In our area that is unheard of! Things here are very expensive.  We were paying 1,500 a month for rent,.......in January we will be paying 1,000! We are saving 500 dollars! We also do not have  water bill here, because we are in the country! Our water bills were about 350 every three months....so that is at least another 100 dollars savings on top of the 500!  To make this week even more special.....we ran out of groceries on Wednesday! I had nothing left to make our family after the meal I prepared on Wednesday afternoon.  I was really sick to my stomach about this but I just kept it to myself....I knew it my husband was aware of this, but there was nothing he could do. At 9:30 that evening I recieved a text message to go check our car.  I went out there and there was tons of groceries!  Matt and I just cried! We could not believe how the Lord just blessed us so abundantly throughout this week!  To top everything off.....just a week prior to this we found out we are getting to adopt the precious baby that has been in our home.  So we move into the home and the house is heated by two fire places.  The day we were running out of wood, we came home to a friend unloading a huge truck load of cut fire wood!  God is just amazing and just keeps blessing and blessing! I know this blog is such a personal one, but I just had to share it because of how amazing the Lord came through! I hope you enjoyed reading it!
