Dear Rebekah and Michael.

I admire the two of you.  It is difficult to do ANYTHING differently than your peers.  They can be merciless and fierce.  After six hospital births and two home births, one of which was delivered by your father, I would choose a midwife ANY DAY, and I had some good doctors!  

Rebekah, you are too tiny.  You need to eat and drink more.  Ignore rude comments about being fat.  I don't know why people feel they need to say such things.  I don't think they realize that life and death are in the power of the tongue.  When you have children EVERYONE has an opinion and many feel the need to share theirs.  

I admire you for taking the castor oil.  That has been used successfully in our family several times.  The baby is a good size, she doesn't have enough fluid, you're full term.  I have been induced for my stillbirth with Sarah at 7 months, and would definitely go the more natural route if possible.  

You guys are doing the right things.  Our extended family has born the brunt of mistakes made by doctors, and like I said, there are some good ones.  I have seen enough to look for other options.

Pray.  Obey your husband.  Talk to your midwife about options to bring the delivery on.  I love you guys. The Lord wouldn't let me sleep last night until sometime after 3:30.  I'm praying for you.
