Mrs_Corbett wrote 348 Days Ago (positive) 1If you've ever noticed the slit cut in the conch shell, that's where the islanders stick a knife or screw driver in and pry the conch loose from the shell. You have to do it at just the right spot. Then home you go to make conch fritters! They're like hush puppies.
