I have been asked if we are aware that this sermon quotes from a version of the Bible other than the King James Bible. In answer to this question, yes, we know. We used to be one of them and understand where they are. We used to believe that those who insisted that we use the King James were simply deceived and were being used by Satan to keep the scriptures out of the language of the common people. A few years ago we studied some information that explained to us that the issue is a textual issue. We now believe that we should use the King James Bible because we believe the Textus Receptus to be the preserved word of God and that the other translations have used other texts which we believe have been tampered with. We used to believe that the other translations had used better manuscripts. We no longer believe that, but the opposite. The message is excellent. Have you ever used a book that had some really good content, you just had to replace the scriptures with your KJB? We are using the same principle here.
